Research approach
How we present
ingredient research.
Understand what each ingredient does, see the amounts in each formula, and explore the research behind our product infographics.
Our method
Context before conclusions.
Sources used
Our product pages bring together Doctors DMC labels, Supplement Facts, product infographics and their scientific references. Product pages link to the available PubMed and DOI records.
Ingredient evidence and product evidence
Research about an ingredient is not presented as a clinical test of the finished Doctors DMC formulation. Study details help you see what was tested and how it relates to the ingredient.
Study context and limitations
Where available, study populations, doses, durations, and evidence limitations are shown alongside the consumer message. A citation provides context; it does not by itself establish that the finished product produced the same outcome.
Formulation accuracy
Amounts and ingredient forms are drawn from the Supplement Facts. For the Plant-Based Acid-Free Vitamin C formulation, calcium ascorbate is identified as the source of the listed 1000 mg Vitamin C; amla and orange peel are listed separately as extracts.
Updates
Always check the label on your pack for the latest formulation and directions. Use the linked studies to explore the evidence in more detail.
